Last Beauty

The beauty of the bindweed drew me off the trail to take a picture, and preserve its light. Bindweeds are one of my favorite flowers, and these striped ones are some of the prettiest ones I've ever seen. The last blooming flowers in the fall, the last light in the bright sunset of the fall, leading to a dark winter. The last bit of life in a dying world.
